Spring in My Hometown
Spring in My Hometown
Spring is the most beautiful season in my hometown, and it always fills the air with hope and energy. Every year in March, the weather gets warmer, and the snow melts away. The first sign of spring is the cherry blossoms in the park—they bloom in pale pink, like clouds falling from the sky. People come to take photos, and kids pick up petals to make little bouquets. The rivers also wake up: the ice breaks, and the water flows quickly, carrying away the last traces of winter. Farmers start working in their fields, planting rice and vegetables. My grandma grows tulips in her garden—red, yellow, and purple ones that look like little cups. On weekends, my family and I go for hikes. The hills are covered with green grass, and we can hear birds singing everywhere. Spring in my hometown is not just about beautiful flowers; it’s about new life and fresh starts. It reminds me that after every cold winter, there’s a warm and colorful spring.
