A Fruit Picking Trip in the Countryside
Last weekend, I went fruit picking with my family in a countryside orchard, and it was a wonderful experience. The orchard was full of apple and pear trees, with red and yellow fruits hanging on the branches. The farmer taught us how to pick the ripe fruits without hurting the trees. I picked a big red apple and bit it immediately—it was crisp and sweet, much better than store-bought ones. We also picked some pears and peaches, filling a big basket. After picking, we had a simple lunch at the farmer’s house, eating homemade noodles and fresh vegetables. This trip let me taste the joy of harvest and know how hard farmers work to grow food.
